Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Although I have never owned a Macaw, I have enjoyed painting them for many years. The colors are amazing and I create the feeling of the tropical rain forest in the background. This painting was created using watercolor and gouache.
