From March to October, 1.5 million bats emerge nightly from narrow crevices in the underside of the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge.We were on an anniversary party boat on a hot August evening when I took my reference photos for this painting. Locals and tourists flock to the bridge to enjoy the sight!
